We spent a week here in late November. The home was very clean and beautiful with its high ceilings. There was plenty of space for our family of 8. The kitchen was very well stocked and we enjoyed the very large dining table to eat at. The main room was also very cozy with a big fireplace and three sofas, with blankets and pillows. We enjoyed watching the World Cup games, all 8 of us in this main room. We also walked to the town, ate bread from the the bread vending machine (very interesting for us Americans) and we had a very nice dinner at the local restaurant in the town, suggested by our host. This home was very spacious and a wonderful, relaxing stay for our family. FYI for travelers to Paris: One thing to warn you of when taking the train into Paris, make sure you buy the zone 5 tickets. There is no one attending the train booth in Marles-en-brie when we bought our tickets, and we ended up buying the wrong tickets. The English translation on the the ticket machine is not clear in the least bit (we bought tickets that said Paris visites). When we arrived in Paris, a train security worker (seemingly waiting for unsuspecting travelers) took our tickets, wanted our passports (which we didn’t give him), told us we bought the wrong tickets, and said we needed to pay the fine of 35 Euros each person or he would call the police. Then another worker came over and pretended to call the police. They were very rude, irrational and since then we have found on google this is happening quite often. So beware. We ended up paying over 200 Euros in fines and tried very hard to not let this experience ruin our day. Patricia learned of the train situation (and mentioned it is not the first time she has see this kind of thing happening) and is now actively working on a solution to facilitate the train issue for her guests. Anyway, we enjoyed meeting Patricia and staying at this wonderful place. We highly recommend it!
We needed a large place to host a group of friends and this was the perfect place! Everything was clean and beautiful. We loved spending time in the private garden. This is a great place close enough to Paris and airports for international groups as well. Would love to come again!

Nous (9 adultes + 3 enfants en bas âge) avons passé un weekend plus que parfait dans cet hébergement. La cuisine bénéficie de tous les équipements pour mijoter de bons petits plats, les chambres sont chaleureuses et dotées d’une literie confortable, la salle d’eau et la salle de bain sont nickel enfin la pièce à vivre est très spacieuse avec de beaux volumes et dispose d’un double salon avec plusieurs canapés permettant des moments de convivialité entre amis. Enfin nous remercions notre hôte pour sa disponibilité dans nos échanges, la préparation de notre venue (les lits étaient faits et le linge de toilette avait été mis à disposition) et son accueil.

We were very happy with our holiday. The accommodation was historic and beautiful with plenty of room for four adults and three children. The hosts were friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. The position of the accommodation was within easy driving distance of many attractions including Disney, a water park, a medieval town and Fontainebleau. Paris is easily accessible by train. We spent a happy two weeks there despite mixed weather and would certainly recommend it.
Ce fut l’endroit idéal pour notre week-end entre amis (une dizaine de personnes dont une moitié d’enfants/ados). Nous avons trouvé la maison mieux en vrai que sur les photos. C’est en fait un immense appartement au 1er étage d’un bâtiment donnant sur une belle cour arborée. La distribution des chambres permet aux petits d’avoir leur royaume et aux grands de dormir, avec d’un côté le dortoir des jeunes (5 lits, sub et wc indépendants) et de l’autre la partie nuit des adultes (4 chambres doubles, sdb et wc indépendants). On trouve sur place une literie confortable et 1 serviette + 1 savonnette par personne. La cuisine, propre et fonctionnelle, permet de circuler à plusieurs. Les repas sont partagés autour de deux grandes tables et une table aussi dehors. Deux coins salon dans le séjour dont une avec grande cheminée propice à la convivialité. Le vestiaire, à l’entrée avant de monter, permet de laisser toutes les affaires en arrivant quand on vient du dehors (bottes, parapluies etc). Surtout nous avons reçu un excellent accueil, bien au-delà de la remise de clés. Un grand merci à Patricia qui a multiplié les services pour nous, entre la video des placards de la cuisine, intervenir pour sécuriser une fermeture de porte, autoriser les enfants de jouer dans le jardin de la propriété, et même renvoyer deux colis avec des objets oubliés pour des visiteurs tête en l’air ! Chacun a trouvé sa place et perdu la notion du temps, et a pu reposer dans ce lieu exceptionnel. MERCI
